A woman from the big city returns to her redneck roots. She makes fun of all of her friends, then realizes they aren’t so bad.

Entertaining and funny, but it gets pretty emotional at the end. If you have not seen very many movies with R. Witherspoon, you will probably like this one. It will score big points with your woman/friend/sister. You might also appreciate that the love interest (played by josh lucas) is attractive enough to lend credibility to the role, but not the stereotypical Hollywood hunk that will leave your woman wondering why you don’t have a chiseled jaw and six-pack abs. You might even be better looking than Josh Lucas.
