The story of two women living in the South in the 1930 – 40’s. Their friendship is tested when one friend moves away and is married. She must escape an abusive relationship with the help of her friends, and deal with the rage of her husband.

This movie has “southern charm”. It is original, interesting, and entertaining. I remember watching this movie when I was younger and being entertained, and I have really liked it since then as well. The cast is great. There are actually two different story lines throughout the movie, which keeps things moving. The ending of this movie is great. Lesson learned: don’t mess with women.
